Residents Shine at ACP Meeting

Stanford residents traveled to San Francisco on October 17 to attend and present at the 2015 American College of Physicians (ACP) abstract competition.

The one-day event brought together internal medicine residents and medical students from all over Northern California to share their research. Two Stanford residents – Justin Lotfi and Naomi Serling-Boyd -- received awards for their quality improvement and clinical vignette posters, and medical student Anjali Dixit was recognized for her clinical vignette presentation.

Stanford residents Andre Kumar, Naomi Serling-Boyd, and George Leef also won “Doctor’s Dilemma,” a medical Jeopardy-style competition created by the ACP. The team will go on to compete at the ACP’s national meeting in Washington D.C.
