Student leaders: from Paris to Palo Alto

 In Uncategorized

I’m delighted to announce an exciting addition to our 2014 Student Leadership Program: a cultural and educational exchange with our sister conference Doctors 2.0 & You in Paris France. If you haven’t thought of applying to our Stanford Medicine X Student Leadership Program, please don’t wait any longer!

The purpose of this program is to foster cultural and educational exchange between student leaders in the interdisciplinary health sciences in the United States and Europe. If accepted to the Paris to Palo Alto track, awardee(s) will be required to attend both conferences: Doctors 2.0 & You in Paris (June 5-6, 2014) and Stanford Medicine X in California (September 5-7, 2014).

Stanford Medicine X will cover travel costs between the US and Europe (and local local lodging), while Doctors 2.0 & You will cover travel costs within Europe to attend the Paris conference. Registration fees for both conferences will be included in the scholarship award. We don’t yet know how many awards we will give out in the Paris to Palo Alto track–it will depend upon how many qualified applications we receive.

Students applying to our Student Leadership Program who are interested in this opportunity should apply in the Paris to Palo Alto track. Don’t wait any longer, applications close January 20, 2014.
