Protect Your Personal Identity
The university has partnered with Experian to help protect your personal identity and offer all benefits-eligible employees access to free identity theft protection services.
To support Stanford's sustainability goals, Procurement Services and Office of Sustainability have developed a set of Responsible Purchasing Guidelines. These guidelines help make resource-conscious purchasing easier, and support the university's commitment to zero waste.
Reminder: In observance of Labor Day, the university is closed on Monday, September 2. The next issue of Cardinal at Work Insider is scheduled for Tuesday, September 3.
August 1 - August 30: Techie Festival 2019
Choose from dozens of sessions on tools you probably use daily, such as Slack and Excel. Learn pro-tips for managing your email inbox, and more. Classes are STAP-fund eligible.
August 15 - October 30: Professional Development Courses
Improve your project management techniques and build effective interpersonal communication skills during these summer/fall sessions. Classes are STAP-fund eligible.
Benefits-eligible employees with children ages 10 and younger may apply for the Child Care Subsidy Grant Application, which provides up to $5,000 a year to help manage the high cost of child care.
Employees gathered outside of University Hall at our new Stanford Redwood City campus on Aug. 1 to give our Cardinal at Work appreciation gift wheel a spin. We gave away over 365 backpacks, gift cards, cinch bags, water bottles, and more in appreciation of your valued contributions. Join Cardinal Kids Club, the official kids club of Stanford Athletics. This program is available for all youth in 8th grade and below and was created as an affordable option to introduce families to The Farm and our exemplary student-athletes.
