Celebrate colleagues who have decades of service to the university

The 7th annual Stanford Celebrates You: Recognizing Staff Careers ceremony is honoring 245 employees who reached a career milestone of 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50 years of service in 2019. This year’s ceremony takes place on April 9, where honorees will be recognized on stage for their decades of contributions to the university’s mission. Show your support to this year’s honorees by leaving a congratulatory message in their honoree profile on the Cardinal at Work website.

March 6: Deadline to nominate staff for the Amy J. Blue Awards

Amy J. Blue Awards are presented to three staff members each year, honoring those who are exceptionally dedicated, supportive of colleagues and passionate about their work. Any non-exempt, bargaining unit, or exempt staff member who meets these award criteria can be nominated.

March 16 & March 24: Protection of Minors Management System Info Sessions

Individuals who sponsor, manage and administer programs involving minors are strongly encouraged to attend one of the upcoming information sessions about the new Protection of Minors Management System (ePOM).

March 19: Wellness Fair (Main Campus)

“Spring into Wellness” by enjoying giveaways, fitness demos, food samples, massages and more at BeWell’s annual Wellness Fair in the Arrillaga Center for Sports and Recreation. Work at Stanford Redwood City? Mark your calendar for the first Wellness Fair at SRWC on April 16.

It’s not too late to enroll in a spring course with Stanford Continuing Studies. Choose from 150+ on-campus and online courses for personal enrichment or professional development. All Continuing Studies courses are STAP fund-eligible.

Drop into any class with a group fitness Quarter Pass or Day Pass, which eligible faculty and staff can purchase at the BeWell discounted rate. Or, take a rec class for professional instruction in tennis, golf, gymnastics, squash, basketball, Olympic lifting or Ashtanga Yoga. Spouses and dependents 18 and older can take classes too, with a valid courtesy ID or recreation access card.
