Get a jump start on the new training requirement for non-supervisors 

If you are a non-supervisory employee – including academic staff, other teaching titles and contingent staff – or a postdoctoral scholar, a new California law requires you to complete Sexual Harassment Prevention Training every two years. The university is offering the option to complete the training this fall,  which will fulfill the 2020 training requirements.

Save the date! Benefits Open Enrollment begins Oct. 21

Open Enrollment 2020 is your next opportunity to change your benefits unless you experience a Qualifying Life Event. Changes you make to your benefits during Open Enrollment, Oct. 21 to Nov. 8, 2019, will take effect on Jan. 1, 2020. Plan to attend a fair or information session to explore all of the programs available to you.

Sept. 18: New Student Orientation (NSO) Move-In Day Volunteers Needed

Sign up by Monday, Sept. 9, to volunteer for NSO Move-In Day. All volunteers are invited to attend an optional  Kick-Off Breakfast in Wilbur Dining Hall on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 7am before assisting with move-in from 7:45am to 11:45am. 

Sept. 12: Women in Technology (Stanford WIT) One Year Celebration

Celebrate Stanford WIT successes from this past year and hear from guest speaker Susie Brubaker-Cole, vice provost for Student Affairs, on Thursday, Sept. 12, 3:00pm to  4:30pm on the main campus, Stanford Redwood City Campus or Zoom.

Kick off your fall by volunteering to participate and give back to our local communities during our 4th annual Cardinal at Work Cares: Giving Essentials Drive, coming up on Oct. 15 - Nov. 15. Get involved now by applying to plan and coordinate an assembly party, or by engaging those in your local area by setting out and monitoring a donation box.

Stanford Continuing Studies fall courses

Stanford Continuing Studies is offering 150+ engaging on-campus and online courses in the liberal arts and sciences, creative writing, and professional and personal development this quarter. Stanford staff may use STAP funds for any Continuing Studies course.  Faculty and non-STAP eligible staff can receive a 20% tuition discount. Most fall courses start the week of Sept. 23.
